Hy-Vee is seeking an Assistant Manager of Health Wellness Home to help lead store operations and support a team delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll set the tone for your area, model Hy-Vee's values, train staff, manage scheduling and performance, and collaborate with department heads to meet profitability and service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of retail experience, including supervisory duties.
• Ability to lead a multi-department team in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and going the extra mile to make every visit a positive one.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees across all departments in your area; ensure standards for customer service, employee relations, and departmental profitability are met.
• Oversee proper training, handle employee issues, and coordinate disciplinary procedures as needed.
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions including promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Assist in forecasting and reviewing the store labor schedule within store manager guidelines.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance and all store sanitation and cleanliness to meet store manager and company guidelines.
