Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Surgical Care Unit in Saint Cloud, MN. The role focuses on greeting and assisting patients and families, handling phone communications, and maintaining patient charts to support care delivery.

The position is part-time with day shifts consisting of 12-hour intervals; onsite at Saint Cloud Hospital. Prior office experience and medical terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience with office procedures and equipment; computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, guests and providers.
• Manage telephone communications and scheduling as needed.
• Organize and maintain patient charts and records.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.

Job Description

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Surgical Care Unit, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.

Schedule

• Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | Onsite
• Day shift | 12-hour shifts | 7:00am-7:30pm

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $19.91 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $19.91 - $30.47 per hour

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
