Qualifications

• Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills and maintain productivity with interruptions.
• Must be able to deal with a variety of individuals and hospital systems.
• Medical terminology preferred, computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency with administrative, clerical and technical skills/knowledge.
• Demonstrates strong organizational abilities.
• Maintains appropriate level of productivity/work output while focusing on immediate priorities.
• Participates in continuing education activities and staff meetings.
• Serves as CBISA reporter for the department; reports benefit activities and enters data into Lyon CBISA system.
• Completes monthly reports with fiscal year entries completed by Aug 1 of next year.
• Obtains and handles medications as per policy.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional environment.
