Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit. This part-time weekend role involves shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, performing clerical support on the nursing unit and ensuring service excellence for patients and staff.

The HUC will handle secretarial tasks, manage call lights, inventories, patient charts, and coordinate with team members in a fast-paced hospital environment at Baptist Medical Center South.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred for advancement within unit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
• Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
• Maintaining patient chart folders
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Progressive Care Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Part-Time Weekends opportunity with shifts of Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
