Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a part-time Health Unit Coordinator to support the 2003220 NURSING - PEDIATRICS - SMMC HOSP unit. The role focuses on non-nursing functions to improve workflow, patient and family experience, and unit productivity.

This position plans, organizes, and implements the non-nursing functions of assigned unit(s) to facilitate workflow, enhance unit productivity, and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff. Position promotes efficient unit function and indirect resident care. Performs clerical and reception duties; requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed; and other duties as assigned. Will need to stock supplies at times
Preferred candidates will have experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist.
