Job summary

Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a legal advisor to support the general counsel across a broad range of health law matters. You will provide legal opinions and guidance on contracts, regulatory issues, and organizational risk.

You will review physician, managed care, service, supply chain, real estate, and construction agreements, help ensure compliance, and assist senior attorneys to advance organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Three to five years transactional/regulatory health law experience.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• JD or LL.M from ABA-accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a legal advisor to provide guidance on a variety of legal matters brought to the office of the general counsel.
• Provides legal opinions in reviewing and evaluating all organization contracts including physician contracts, managed care contracts, service agreements, supply chain agreements, real estate, and construction contracts.
• Provides support to general counsel and senior attorneys to achieve organizational goals and strategies and support overall legal compliance.
