Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA, is seeking a qualified candidate to support immunization program operations. The role covers vaccine inventories, data collection, medical record reviews, and tracking equipment in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

Qualifications include one year of specialized experience at GS-06 level or equivalent education in nursing, chemistry, or biology, or a combination that meets 100% of the requirements.

• One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Nursing, Chemistry, Biology.

Specialize Experience:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes vaccine inventories, wide variety of data collection, medical record reviews, tracking and evaluating equipment and in improving the immunization program in a Military Treatment facility (MTF).

OR Education:

One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Nursing, Chemistry, Biology.

OR Combination of Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
