Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a senior leader to oversee Security Services across the UCLA Health system, including hospitals, ambulatory clinics, and administrative facilities.

You will manage daily security operations, supervise personnel, oversee alarm monitoring and CCTV, develop security policies, and collaborate with executive leadership, clinical departments, and law enforcement to ensure safety, compliance, and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• California Security Guard Card within 90 days.
• IAHSS Basic Certification.
• BLS from AHA or Red Cross within 6 months of hire.
• 10+ years of supervisory or management experience overseeing security personnel.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, DPH, HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and operational oversight for Security Services across UCLA Health locations.
• Manages daily security operations and supervises security personnel.
• Oversees alarm monitoring and CCTV systems; develops security policies and procedures.
• Serves as liaison to executive leadership, clinical departments, law enforcement, and regulators.
