Job summary

Trustmark is seeking a sales professional to sell self-funded health products primarily by telephone and online, and then transition accounts to an account manager for ongoing service. You will develop new accounts and/or grow existing ones while pursuing leads within your defined territory, responding to inquiries, and guiding customers to the right products.

You'll execute the sales strategy, identify opportunities, generate reports and contribute to growth with competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years of relevant sales experience.
• Active life and health license preferred or must complete within 90 days of hire with company support.
• Consultative sales expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selling self-funded health products almost exclusively via telephone and Internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) then transitions account to an account manager for ongoing maintenance and service.
• Develops new accounts and/or generates new business from existing accounts.
• Pursues sales leads within assigned territory, defined by geographic area.
• Responds to customer inquiries and offers guidance on appropriate products.
• Executes sales strategy, identifies new opportunities/leads, and generates sales reports.
