Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Health Services Researcher to contribute to research programs spanning Internal Medicine and OB/GYN, evaluating quality, access, outcomes and disparities in diverse patient populations.

You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to execute projects informing clinical decision-making and healthcare innovation, while supporting ongoing hospital quality initiatives and grant preparation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Health Policy, Survey Research, Epidemiology, Sociology, or other health-related research field required.
5 years of professional experience in public health or healthcare field required.
Experience in observational research and data analysis required.
Biostatistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support hospital quality improvement initiatives with data analysis.
Prepare study reports, graphs, and scorecards for dissemination.
Analyze outcomes, methods, and processes using primary and secondary data sources.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and with federal, state, and local agencies when needed.
Design studies evaluating healthcare interventions and develop data resources for grants.
