Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Head of Research to lead enterprise research, outcomes, and publication strategy. The role builds scalable research infrastructure and translates real-world data into evidence to guide care and support clinicians.

The successful candidate will oversee governance, collaborate with Clinical Excellence, Quality, Legal, Privacy, and Data Insights, and manage a team of researchers and contractors to deliver high-quality publications and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree in related field.
• 10+ years progressive experience in clinical/health outcomes research.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing research teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise research strategy, with annual priorities and governance.
• Oversee analyses of clinical, operational, and measurement-based care data for actionable insights.
• Establish publication standards and manage manuscripts, abstracts, and reports.
• Build scalable research operations, including design support and IRB coordination.
• Partner with Clinical Excellence, Quality, Legal, Privacy, and Data Insights teams.
