Job summary

Terraces of Boise seeks an experienced Health Services Administrator to lead our health center and ensure quality care for residents. You will oversee nursing, social services, dietary and rehabilitation programs while maintaining budget discipline and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in health services administration, Idaho HSA licensure, and a related bachelor’s degree. We offer strong benefits and a supportive leadership culture within our nonprofit Life Plan community.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Health Services Administrator.
  • Idaho HSA license in Idaho with ongoing CE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, hospital administration, business).
  • Active memberships in professional or community service organizations; or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the health center (skilled nursing) in accordance with standards.
  • Coordinate nursing, social services, dietary, pharmaceutical, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Develop and implement resident care policies and procedures; monitor quality indicators.
  • Ensure programs operate within budget and align with our person-directed care philosophy.

Description

Set on 11 beautiful acres and within walking distance of the Boise River Greenbelt, our campus offers easy access to both the cultural richness of Boise, as well as open wilderness and an outdoor lifestyle.


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Health Services Administrator (HSA) to join our executive leadership team. The HSA is dedicated to providing excellent service to residents through our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care” and is committed to fostering a positive and supportive work culture. The HSA leads the Health Center (skilled nursing) in alignment with federal, state, and local standards, and oversees the full scope of health services programs to ensure quality care and services are delivered within budgetary guidelines.


The annual salary for this position is $134,00 to $164,000 (DOE) + performance-based incentive


A day in the life may include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring nursing services, social services, food programs, medical needs, therapeutic recreation/activity, spiritual life, health information, and pharmaceutical programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated to maximize resident quality of life and quality of care

  • Ensuring rehabilitation programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated to maximize residents’optimallevel of functioning

  • Identifying,monitoring, and ensuring that quality indicators and quality assurance programs areutilizedto maximize effectiveness in resident care and services

  • Ensuring ongoing development, implementation, and review of resident care policies and procedures


To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Health Services Administrator

  • HSA license in the state of Idaho. Licensure must be updated through continuing education

  • A bachelor’s degree with a major in one of the professional disciplines concerned with service to people such as social work, hospital administration, theology, business, publicadministrationor another related field

  • Memberships and active participation in professional and community service organizations; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills,knowledgeand abilities

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
