Mercy on-site Health Risk Assessments team is seeking a part-time Health Screening Specialist in Springfield, MO. You will perform BP checks, phlebotomy, hearing/vision tests, and related screenings, processing paperwork and promoting corporate wellness services.
The role requires flexible hours, travel to local sites, and the ability to work across multiple shifts. A CMA or health-related associate degree is preferred, with BLS certification within 90 days.
The role of the Health Screening Specialist is on-site Health Risk Assessments as a member of the HRA team. Knowledge and skilled technique while performing blood pressure, pulse, body composition and phlebotomy. Phlebotomy skills required. Participates in processing of HRA, screening, or class paperwork. Ability to complete training and perform a variety of Health Screening procedures including Urine Drug Screens, Hearing Testing, Vision Testing, Pulmonary Function Testing, EKGs, and Respirator Fit Testing. Promote additional wellness services while on-site with a detailed knowledge of services and products offered by Corporate Health and Wellness.
Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out-of-town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies.
