Job summary

Mercer University’s Swilley Library seeks a Research Services Librarian for Health Sciences on the Atlanta campus. You will provide research services, instruction, and outreach for Pharmacy and related health disciplines, supporting graduate and professional students.

You’ll create LibGuides and knowledgebase content, collaborate across departments, and participate in events and outreach while maintaining excellent client service.

Qualifications

• MLIS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program is required.
• Notable library experience in health sciences preferable.
• Experience with reference and instruction in academic libraries.

Responsibilities

• Provide research services in Pharmacy and Health Sciences to post-traditional students.
• Deliver library instruction and consultations (virtual and in-person).
• Develop LibGuides, LibAnswers, and tutorial videos.
• Support patron-driven acquisitions and circulation tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in university events.
