Responsibilities

  • Oversee Daily Operations of the Dental Hygiene Clinic
  • Manage patient scheduling, payment processing, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and coordination of essential services to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
  • Ensure Compliance and Financial Accountability; Monitor radiology safety protocols, maintain accurate financial records and reports, and manage the clinic budget to support regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide administrative support for the Swingle Center, including managing patient records and x-ray requests for the dental clinic, assisting faculty and students with program-related tasks, coordinating adjunct onboarding, and supporting general site operations.
  • Provide on-site support to students and faculty by assisting with technology, coordinating access to campus resources, monitoring lab availability, and serving as a communication link between the Swingle Center and Great Falls College to ensure a successful learning environment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Great Falls College, Gallatin College, and Montana State University, representing the college professionally at the Swingle Center, supporting health science programs, participating in recruitment efforts, and maintaining effective communication across campuses.

General Statement


The Great Falls College Health Science Program Site Coordinator supports the daily operations of
health science program at the Swingle Center on the Montana State University campus, including a
small dental hygiene clinic. This role ensures classes, labs, and the clinic function smoothly,
supports students and adjunct faculty, and serves as a liaison between the site and the main campus in Great Falls, MT. The coordinator also assists with administrative duties for the health science
programs offered at the site. Hours of operation are 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday with some flexibility
in schedule depending on the college’s needs and time of year. Some limited in-state travel may be
required.


Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Oversee Daily Operations of the Dental Hygiene Clinic
    Manage patient scheduling, payment processing, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and
    coordination of essential services to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.

  2. Ensure Compliance and Financial Accountability
    Monitor radiology safety protocols, maintain accurate financial records and reports, and manage the clinic budget to support regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.

Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills


  1. Minimum of 2 years of office experience

  1. Experience in healthcare or dental clinic operations

  2. Experience in a higher education setting and with higher education processes

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time; to do extensive keyboard entry and to file for periods of time. It also requires the ability to bend and squat near the floor for periods of time, to move from sitting to standing frequently, manual dexterity, some reaching and using a stool to reach files, some infrequent lifting of various size boxes.
