Job summary

UC Irvine's Disability Services Center seeks a Disability Services Specialist for the College of Health Sciences to coordinate accommodations for students across Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Population and Public Health. Under the Director, you will review disability documentation and determine reasonable accommodations.

You will consult with faculty, interpret laws, lead projects, and ensure compliant services while working with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication to present information professionally at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for College of Health Sciences programs (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Population and Public Health).
• Serve as primary contact for prospective and admitted students needing accommodations.
• Review disability documentation and determine reasonable accommodations.
• Interpret federal/state disability laws and advise faculty and administrators.
