Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical reports and their implications for accommodation.
• Strong writing, speaking, and group presentation skills to various levels of the organization.
• Ability to apply established principles to new and unusual problems.
• Commitment to inclusive, respectful professional conduct and collaboration.
• Experience cultivating relationships with multiple departments to support students.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience/training.
• Minimum 5 years in disability services, disability counseling, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for COHS students with disabilities and ensure access to programs.
• Review confidential disability documentation and determine reasonable accommodations.
• Serve as primary contact for prospective and new students and liaise with faculty and administrators.
• Interpret laws/regulations for students and faculty and facilitate disability-related projects.
