Job summary

Finastra seeks a Health, Safety & Security Lead to oversee security, safety, and incident management across the Americas and select international locations. You will drive program maturity, assess threats, manage investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with regional teams to strengthen resilience.

Responsibilities include incident response, risk analysis, executive reporting, and implementing AI‑enabled process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in corporate security, physical security, health and safety, emergency management, investigations, law enforcement, military service, or related disciplines.
  • Experience managing incidents, investigations, threat assessments, crisis situations, and security‑related risks.
  • Understanding of physical security programs, threat monitoring, incident response, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with executive leadership and diverse teams.

What Will You Contribute?

As the Health, Safety & Security Lead, you will play a critical role in protecting Finastra's people, facilities, and operations by leading health, safety, physical security, and incident management initiatives across the Americas while supporting selected international locations. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, driving the maturity of Finastra's corporate security and health and safety programs. This role requires a proactive professional who can assess threats, manage incidents, conduct investigations, oversee regulatory compliance, and partner with stakeholders across multiple regions to strengthen organizational resilience and security preparedness.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Lead the execution and continuous improvement of Finastra's Health, Safety, Physical Security, and related resiliency programs across the Americas. Monitor, assess, and respond to incidents, threats, security events, and emerging risks affecting employees, facilities, and business operations. Conduct and support investigations related to security incidents, workplace safety concerns, and operational disruptions. Partner with internal stakeholders and regional teams to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements. Develop security risk assessments, threat analyses, and preparedness strategies to enhance organizational resilience. Coordinate crisis response activities, incident management processes, and recovery efforts during significant events. Prepare executive‑level reports, presentations, and recommendations on security, safety, and risk‑related matters. Lead strategic program enhancements and collaborate with global teams to strengthen physical security and operational resilience capabilities. Drive productivity and business performance by embedding AI‑enabled automation, improving processes based on value and risk, ensuring trusted data standards, and leveraging insights to support informed decision‑making and measurable outcomes.

Required Experience & Skills

Significant experience in corporate security, physical security, health and safety, emergency management, investigations, law enforcement, military service, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience managing incidents, investigations, threat assessments, crisis situations, and security‑related risks. Strong understanding of physical security programs, threat monitoring, incident response, and regulatory compliance requirements. Exceptional analytical and investigative skills with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend appropriate actions. Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across diverse teams, cultures, and geographic regions. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Certifications in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Physical Security, Project Management, or related disciplines are preferred. Active or previous government security clearance experience is considered an asset.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia-This is a hybrid role with 2 days/week in office requirement (Sandy Springs, GA). Travel: Up to 25% travel.
