Job Description: Health & Safety Manager - St. Louis, MO

Position Summary: This role supports health and safety initiatives, providing leadership and support to the ADM facility and vessels. Reports to the Marine Health & Safety Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and review health and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations, including USCG and TSMS.
  2. Audit performance and compliance; collaborate with management to achieve safety goals.
  3. Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentorship in safety practices.
  4. Advise management on safety action plans and focus areas.
  5. Promote safety culture through effective leadership and influence.
  6. Monitor and evaluate safety programs through audits and KPIs.
  7. Manage safety reporting systems and lead incident investigations.
  8. Act as liaison with governmental agencies such as USCG, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  9. Maintain environmental compliance, including stormwater, waste management, and pollution prevention plans.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years in environmental health and safety roles or safety-related degree.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and digital literacy skills.
  • Ability to recognize hazards, assess risks, and recommend controls.
  • Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor settings.

Compensation: $70,400 - $131,300 annually, plus annual bonus and incentive plans. Pay may vary based on experience and market factors.

Location: St. Louis, MO

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring occasional travel and background checks.
