  • Demonstrated ability to provide detailed regulatory interpretation of federal and state OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, manage and continuously improve EHS programs for the facility.
  • Conduct daily risk reviews, gemba walks, and field presence to ensure controls.
  • Oversee PPE program and hazardous waste management.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Health & Safety Manager (Field Based) (Biotech)

ERM is hiring a Health & Safety Manager in Elkhart, IN. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, managing and continuously improving the environment, health and safety programs for the facility. The H&S Manager will have broad knowledge of H&S compliance programs and, where required, H&S specialty areas including Industrial Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Risk Management, and Process Safety. This role will provide guidance in managing budgets to support outside services and operating expenses. The role includes strategic H&S planning as well as a tactical role for site-wide H&S systems, H&S regulations, and best practices. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), limited-term role for a duration of 4 months, renewable.

For the Health & Safety Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $X–$Y(USD) . Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures (casual and fixed term/flex force employees arenot bonuseligible).
