Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical information
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting health and safety or industrial hygiene data
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across North America
• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to travel
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

• Support the development and execution of IH sampling plans and field surveys, including data interpretation
• Perform health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments
• Contribute to the design and implementation of health and safety programs across areas including chemical and electrical safety, machine guarding and fire prevention, and more
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and client deliverables
• Collaborate as an engaged team member across multiple concurrent project teams
• Develop a working knowledge of ERM's broader consulting services and support cross-selling opportunities

• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred

• Experience supporting clients in High Tech, Power, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sector environments
• Current or planned CIH or CSP certification
• Additional certifications such as OHST, SMS, or CHST
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, innovative client environments while consistently delivering high‑quality work

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and client deliverables
• Collaborate as an engaged team member across multiple concurrent project teams
• Develop a working knowledge of ERM's broader consulting services and support cross‑selling opportunities

For the Consultant, Health & Safety position, the anticipated annual base pay is $81,600 –$103,128 ( USD) . Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
