Job summary

KFS LLC is seeking a full-time Health and Safety Manager to lead construction safety programs, oversee OSHA and USACE EM385‑1‑1 compliance, and provide field support on projects including OCONUS sites.

The role develops safety plans, conducts risk assessments, leads trainings, investigates incidents, and ensures corrective actions. Requires CSP, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, 10+ years in safety, and DoD experience. Located on Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of Marshall Islands.

Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional and OSHA 30-hour Construction Certificate required.
• HAZWOPER 40‑hour Certification required; degree in safety management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in construction safety with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Technical knowledge of OSHA and USACE EM 385‑1‑1; fall protection and hazardous energy control.

Responsibilities

• Provide corporate and site safety health field support to projects at client sites.
• Develop and implement project health and safety plans, procedures, and policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead training and safety briefings for project personnel and contractors.
• Interface with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders; support DoD/federal projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM385‑1‑1, APP/AHA, and project requirements.
