Job summary

Orbia Polymer Solutions Vestolit is seeking a qualified EHSS professional to implement and administer training, emergency response, and PPE programs at the Henry site. The role supports site HSES compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, and PSM standards and coordinates with incident responders and supervisors.

You will lead the development of training, manage emergency response initiatives, and maintain critical HSES documentation while advancing the site safety culture and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Emergency Response, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Or minimum of five years of direct HSES experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge desirable.
• Experience with LDAR, PVC MACT, Boiler MACT, RICE MACT, and Title V requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer training, emergency response, and PPE programs at the Henry location.
• Support site HSES programs to ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, PSM.
• Manage site Emergency Response, Risk Management Plan (RMP), and HAZMAT programs including drills and incident command.
• Identify, develop, implement, and document training programs to support employee competency and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Supervisors, Engineers and Managers to support incident investigations, permitting programs (e.g. Hot Work, Confined Space, JSA) and job certifications.
• Administer and maintain site fire protection systems and emergency response equipment including inspections and repairs.
• Maintain certifications, qualifications, and training required for HSES responsibilities (RCRA, DOT, HAZWOPER, TSCA, NESHAP).
• Serve as a resource to the Incident Commander during emergencies and coordinate with response teams.
• Contribute to developing and improving facility HSES Policies and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
