Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting. The EHS Coordinator will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.

Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.

Maintain accurate records of safety data, including SDS, injury/illness logs, and permits.

Participate in environmental compliance programs (waste management, air/water permits).

Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and reporting.

Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate hazards.

Promote employee involvement in safety committees and initiatives.

Assist in the development and review of EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations.

Effective communication and training skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.

OSHA 30 Certified, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Hazardous Materials (CHMM) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Primarily based in a manufacturing plant environment.

May require occasional work in outdoor or elevated locations.

Must be able to wear PPE as required.

2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.

The position offers a salary range of $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year and is bonus eligible. Bonuses are performance-based and typically range for 10%-15% of the annual salary.
