Hitachi Energy is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician in Alamo, TN to promote a safe, compliant workplace. This hands-on role partners with supervisors to drive safe behaviors and reduce site risk on the floor and in operations.

You will support HSE programs, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and KPI tracking while upholding Hitachi Energy’s safety values and integrity across the site.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with HSE.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Clear written and spoken communication.
  • Experience with OSHA, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and advise supervisors on HSE practices and expectations.
  • Support compliance with local, state, and federal HSE requirements.
  • Maintain HSE management systems, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Verify corrective actions help prevent repeat incidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Support incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up activities.
  • Review trends from incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Help implement HSE programs and procedures.
  • Organize activities that increase awareness and safe behaviors.
  • Support HSE planning, KPIs, goals, and risk reduction efforts.
  • Model Hitachi Energy’s values of safety and integrity.

**Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician****The opportunity**Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN, is looking for a **Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician** to help create a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with supervisors and team members to support safe behaviors, reduce risk, and strengthen HSE performance across the site. You will apply practical HSE knowledge, build trusted partnerships with operations, and help maintain systems that support occupational health, production safety, environmental compliance, and fire prevention.
