Job summary

The University of Utah Health Research is seeking an Hourly Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator and team on health promotion, disease prevention, and community-focused health interventions. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, recruit participants, collect data, and prepare materials under the PI's guidance.

You will also conduct surveys, focus groups, and evaluation data collection, and help prepare data for analysis.

Qualifications

• 1 year of higher education can substitute for 1 year of directly related work experience.
• Research Assistant I requires little to no related experience.
• Research Assistant II requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Research Assistant III requires 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for federally funded studies.
• Recruit and follow up with study participants.
• Collect data and prepare study materials and documentation.
• Draft IRB materials and maintain study protocols.
• Contribute to scientific products such as manuscripts and abstracts.
