Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing units and clinical areas to retrieve clinical documents for in-house and discharged patients.
• Prepare, scan, index, and validate documents in the EHR for timely electronic access by providers.
• Respond to requests for release of medical records and HIPAA-compliant disclosures.
• Interview patients to obtain timely, accurate information as per Florida requirements.
• Support departmental goals with high accuracy and teamwork.
