ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will work under a Licensed Architect as a subject matter expert and lead planner on Healthcare projects.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Seek to advance industry standards by developing innovative solutions as research needs evolve.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
  • Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and evaluate space utilization.
  • Communicate planning concepts effectively to project teams and clients through reports and presentations, and work with designers to optimize plans.
  • Translate planning concepts into understandable terms for clients and team members.
  • Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions.
  • Assist in creating architectural drawings and specifications to realize planning ideas in construction documents.
  • Contribute to developing project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
  • Integrate Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to other designers and project leaders.
  • Participate in marketing proposals as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert on Healthcare projects.
  • Licensure or registration in the U.S. is preferred.
  • LEED accreditation is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • High analytical ability and professional qualification to work independently with some ambiguity.
  • Technical proficiency, coordination skills, and ability to build rapport.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
