Job summary

Special Olympics New York is looking for an Associate Director of Program, Health Programming, to lead statewide health initiatives and coordinate regional activities. The role reports to the Senior Director of Program, Health Programming and requires a Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field, with health program planning experience.

This exempt, full-time position can be based at any SONY office in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public or Community Health or related field required.
• 6 months to 1 year of health/wellness experience essential.
• Experience with I/DD field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor program procedures including budgeting and annual planning.
• Familiarity with event planning, management and implementation is preferred.
• Coordinate health programming activities statewide and regionally.
• Ensure compliance with SONY and SOI standards and grant deliverables.
• Lead health-related communication internally and with stakeholders.
