Job summary

Special Olympics New York Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Program, Health Programming to lead statewide and regional health initiatives, coordinate program development, and ensure adherence to Healthy Athletes, fitness programming and grant deliverables.

You will manage budgets, support grant reporting, partner with clinical leaders and volunteers, and mentor program staff, while expanding health education and safety training across New York's athletes and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public/Community Health or related field is required or desired with 6 months to 1 year health-related work.
• Experience in health system planning, project management, and communicating with diverse stakeholders is essential.
• Experience creating promotional/educational resources using Canva or similar tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor all health program related operational procedures including budgeting and planning.
• Familiarity with event planning, management and implementation is preferred.
• Coordinate and monitor health programming initiatives at statewide and regional levels.
