Civicworks in Arkansas is seeking a Health Program Specialist to develop, coordinate and implement public health programs addressing communicable disease control, chronic disease prevention and health promotion. The role includes program evaluation, community outreach, and collaboration with diverse partners, with frequent in-state travel to Miller, Columbia, Ouachita or Union counties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or closely related field.
  • Experience in public health, communicable disease investigation and case management preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse and high-risk populations preferred.
  • Proficiency with data systems and digital tools such as Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
