Job summary

The State of Alaska is seeking a LTNP Health Program Manager 2 in Anchorage or Juneau to lead prevention, treatment, and recovery support programs for Alaskans. The role focuses on grants management, program oversight, and statewide behavioral health initiatives, with a hybrid telework arrangement in either location.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience; travel may be required to support federal and state program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in biological, health, or behavioral science; health practice; education; public, healthcare, or business administration; or a closely related field.
• Progressively responsible professional experience performing health program planning, development, coordination, evaluation, or implementation; providing technical health care assistance and consultation; conducting health care utilization or quality assurance examinations; and/or delivering health care.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to grantees and ensure programmatic compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance service coordination.
• Deliver statewide consultation on behavioral health prevention, treatment, and recovery support initiatives.
