Mathematica in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Health Research Analyst to support domestic health policy and public health projects. You will contribute to rigorous, data-driven research for clients like AHRQ, HRSA, ASPE, CMS, and SAMHSA.

Responsibilities include literature reviews, qualitative data collection and analysis, and drafting memos and analytic reports. A Master’s in public health or policy and strong writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, public policy, or related field with coursework in research methods.
• Coursework or work experience in qualitative research methods.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to write clear technical memos and stakeholder briefs.
• Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans summarizing health policy topics.
• Support senior staff in qualitative data collection and analysis; develop interview guides and code data.
• Serve as a Project Manager with Directors to plan, manage, and close out complex projects; track budgets and schedules.
• Draft client memos, analytic reports, briefs, and other written products.
