Job summary

Molina Healthcare is seeking an Enrollment Support Specialist in New York, NY to identify, interview and screen eligible members for health insurance products, assist with plan selection and enrollment, and ensure documentation accuracy.

The role builds relationships with community agencies, travels to sites, conducts outreach events, and helps members complete applications while explaining plan features, deadlines and HIPAA requirements. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in health care or customer/provider services; exposure to state/federal health insurance programs preferred.
• Marketplace Certified NYSOH CAC or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Data processing and proofing experience; attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly/quarterly enrollment goals and growth targets.
• Facilitate calls to interview and assist eligible members with enrollment into Molina plans.
• Meet with potential members at community sites and events.
• Explain plan features and assist with applications and required disclosures.
• Educate members on plan options, premium payments, and PCP selection.
• Submit completed applications by state deadlines; assist with recertification.
