Job summary

Molina Healthcare in New York is seeking a dedicated enrollment specialist to support member enrollment activities, interview prospective members, and guide them through plan selection and enrollment processes. You will process paperwork, educate members on plan benefits, assist with premium payments, and build relationships with community organizations to drive enrollment and recertification efforts.

Local travel and weekend events may be required, with a focus on serving diverse communities

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in health care or customer/provider services with experience handling state/federal health insurance.
• Marketplace NYSOH certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interview, screen and assist potential eligible members with enrollment into Molina health plans.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals.
• Educate members on plan options, requirements and documentation.
• Submit all completed applications by deadlines per state requirements.
• Represent Molina at community events and health fairs.
• Provide support for enrollment paperwork and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with community agencies and providers to refer eligible members.
• Travel locally as required.
