The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Cook Children’s Health Plan is responsible for assisting the President in achieving the Health Plan’s goals and coordinating non-clinical operations across the organization.

The COO leads planning, strategic execution, and enterprise transformation, and partners with IT, finance, and clinical leadership to optimize performance and ensure regulatory compliance across the Health Plan and system.

Formación

• 8+ years of executive level management experience in a healthcare organization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead health plan efforts to improve clinical/quality, financial and operational performance.
• Track record of implementing value-based provider contracts and improving outcomes.
• Proficiency in healthcare data standards, claims/enrollment integration, and vendor management.

Responsabilidades

• Plan with the President and Executive Team to chart and execute strategic and operational plans.
• Lead multi-year transformation initiatives in healthcare operations with measurable results.
• Monitor and improve performance of operational support activities to meet system and regulatory requirements.
• Develop staff development programs and foster a culture of continuous innovation.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and clinical leadership to optimize interoperability and system integration.
