CalOptima Health is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join the Executive Office and drive strategic leadership across health plan operations, provider relations, and information security. You will balance resources, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance while guiding cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

The role requires executive-level experience in managed-care, government program familiarity, and strong collaboration with providers, partners, and regulators.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of executive managed-care operations experience.
• Experience in government programs and public agency contracting.
• Willingness to travel ~10% of the time with transportation access.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee operations across departments.
• Lead planning, budgeting, and collaboration with providers, stakeholders and boards.
• Direct and supervise multiple teams; report to the Board of Directors.
• Develop workflows, ensure regulatory compliance and effective performance metrics.
• Drive succession planning and staff development.
• Engage with regulators, auditors, and external committees; manage cross-organizational projects.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships; present updates to executives.
