Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory in the United States seeks an Health Physicist to lead health-physics efforts. Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in a related technical/engineering/science field with required experience.
- Certification as CHP or CHP in Training or equivalent degree is preferred.
- Experience with dose assessment, dosimetry, and radiation health issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Radiation Health programs and new dosimetry systems.
- Provide technical assistance on health-physics topics and mentor others.
- Qualify as Internal Monitoring Operator and System Administrator for monitoring ops.
- Participate in emergency response organization and audits.
