St. Michael-Albertville School District Albertville Primary in Albertville, MN, invites applications for a Health Paraprofessional (Preschool/Kindergarten) to join the School Health Program.

Responsibilities include first aid for ill or injured students and staff, and assisting with health screenings, while maintaining FERPA confidentiality. The position starts October 1, 2026, at 0.875 FTE (35 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–2:15 PM, with a starting hourly rate of $21.17–$21.65 plus $4.00

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of post secondary education.
• Experience in administering First Aid and CPR is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or comparable experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical equipment (nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi-pens, peak flow meters, audiometer, tympanometers, inhalers).

Responsibilities

• Provide health services within the School Health Program including first aid to sick and injured students and staff.
• Assist with health screenings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information under FERPA.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM; 0.875 FTE (35 hours/week).

About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $21.17-$21.65 per hour, additional $4.00 per hour if LPN certified

Requirements & Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post secondary education; excellent clerical skills, experience in administering First Aid and CPR; Licensed Practical Nurse or comparable experience; have working knowledge of various medical equipment including but not limited to nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi-pens, peak flow meters, audiometer, tympanonmeters, and inhalers possess respectful, empathetic listening and communication skills with students, families and staff
