Job summary

SCAN is seeking an Information Security Engineer to safeguard our digital assets across Azure, Windows, and M365 hybrid environments. You will identify risks, enforce IAM/Zero Trust, and manage security deployments to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Applicants should possess 3+ years in information security, healthcare security experience, and relevant certifications. The role involves cross-team collaboration, on-call duties, and continuous improvement of security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of information security or cybersecurity experience.
• 2+ years in security monitoring, threat detection, incident response or SOC operations.
• 2+ years healthcare, HIPAA/PHI security experience (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or Microsoft Certified (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support security operations across multiple Microsoft 365 and cloud tenants.
• Investigate, triage, and respond to security events from SOC and MDR platforms.
• Implement and maintain security controls for Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoints, and collaboration tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities as needed.
