Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Manager of System Interfaces to lead the design, development, and maintenance of clinical, ERP, financial, and ancillary system interfaces. The role requires coordinating across Ancillary and System Interfaces teams, EHR application teams, ERP teams, and external vendors.

The candidate will drive efforts from design through production, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability while promoting cross-training and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare interface standards (HL7, X12, FHIR, SOAP, REST)
• Hands-on experience with InterSystems, Ensemble, or Epic Bridges
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Advanced technical computer skills for technical support and systems integration

Responsibilities

• Lead interface design discussions to meet business needs while ensuring robustness and security.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors for integration projects.
• Maintain documentation for deploying and managing interfaces and engines.
• Monitor production changes, telemetry, and alerting to ensure operational excellence.
• Provide root cause analysis and permanent improvements after incidents.
