MCS Puerto Rico is seeking a Customer Service Representative I – SC to assist customers with information about health insurance products and benefits. The role involves handling inquiries on eligibility, coverage, and reimbursement, logging cases, and coordinating with other departments to ensure service continuity.

Qualified candidates have a degree and experience in customer service or call centers, preferably in health insurance. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; health insurance industry experience preferred.
• 60–64 college credits (2 years) or an Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year in customer service, preferably in a health insurance call center.
• High School Diploma with at least 2 years in customer service, preferably in a health insurance call center.
• Proven experience may be replaced by previously established requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assist customers and prospects with information about products and services.
• Resolve service needs by following established processes and document steps for continuity.
• Handle calls from the center, address inquiries about eligibility, coverage, and benefits.
• Log cases in CRM and update customers on the status of their requests.
• Refer complaints to the appropriate unit and support other departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer demographics in the system and ensure data quality.
