Job summary

CommunityCare HMO Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first contact for membership questions and requests. You will provide outstanding service on benefits, eligibility, PCPs, claims and other inquiries, while resolving issues professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are customer focused, detail oriented, and able to work in a team with learning agility. Flexible hours including weekends/evenings may be required to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience with direct interactions.
• Contact center or medical field experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of inquiries from members, providers, billing companies and others.
• Strive for first call resolution by communicating accurate information.
• Verify eligibility, benefits, deductibles, claim status and related data.
• Use active listening to understand needs and offer optimal solutions.
• Resolve escalated issues in a calm, professional manner.
• Provide interpretation services as needed via language line services.
• Flexible hours including weekends/evenings as required.
• Support teammates and contribute to meeting call center metrics.
• Participate in training and ongoing learning opportunities.
