Job summary

w3r Consulting in New York seeks a Customer Assistor / Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist to educate individuals, families, and community organizations about health plan options and assist with enrollment and recertification.

You will conduct outreach at health fairs and events, review income and eligibility documents, explain plan benefits and costs, and help members enroll in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Qualified Health Plans while ensuring compliance with marketplace

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service, sales, healthcare enrollment, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Basic math and MS Office skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• New York State MFE training/certification required within 3 months of hire.
