Job summary

MCS Puerto Rico is seeking a Customer Service Representative I – SC to assist customers and beneficiaries with information about products and services. You will handle inquiries on eligibility, coverage changes, and documentation, while ensuring accurate case logging in our CRM system.

The role requires maintaining service levels, following standard procedures, and adhering to company policies in a health insurance environment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
• 6 months of experience in customer service, preferably call center in health insurance.
• Proven language skills in Spanish and English at intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact, answering inquiries about policyholders and dependents.
• Process coverage certificates, non-covered services letters, and documentation requests.
• Update policyholder demographics in the CRM system and maintain accurate records.
• Log cases, inform customers of status, and ensure follow-up when needed.
• Handle calls from the center, resolve issues or escalate as required.
