Job summary

Ohio Department of Medicaid seeks a Health Innovation Research Manager within the Office of Health Innovation & Quality. You will oversee program evaluation and transformation initiatives in collaboration with Ohio's academic and health leaders to improve care delivery and access for Medicaid populations.

The role requires graduate study in health administration or related field and about one year of health services project management experience.

Qualifications

Graduate core program in business, public administration, public health or health administration.
12 months experience delivering a health services program or health services project management.
Or 12 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293.

Responsibilities

Deliver as agency manager to evaluate Medicaid programs and transform health systems with Ohio’s academic and health leaders.
Conduct program development, analysis and comparative studies to measure transformation impact.
Evaluate practices to improve chronic disease prevention and early detection through the Regional QI Hub initiative and access to care.
Provide strategic oversight of policies governing MedTAPP and similar programs.
Analyze and interpret federal and state regulations to ensure program compliance.
