Qualifications

• Experience of 1 year in HIM or medical records department required.
• Preferred: 2 years in acute care medical records, 1 year in Release of Information.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill requests for protected health information (PHI).
• Manage scanned medical records to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Address provider questions regarding documentation and basic chart corrections.
