AllHealth Network is seeking a Health Information Technician to provide advanced information services with a focus on privacy and accuracy in medical records. You will process requests for records releases, audit records for quality, and support data reporting across locations.
The role requires at least two years in health information or related secretarial work, strong data entry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems. Training is provided through Relias Learning.
Provide advanced, detail oriented health information services to the Network with excellent customer service to internal and external customers to protect the privacy and security of client protected health information. Completes requests for information released out of our EHR.
Required Training: Completion of associate level Health Information Technician program or equivalent experience. Registered Health Information Technician preferred.
Required experience: A minimum of two years of medical office or secretarial experience required.
Skills required: Data entry and computer competency and proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel), and electronic health record navigation. Competency in spelling, grammar, problem solving, and computation. Ability to type 50 wpm and filing. Ability to navigate medical and clinical records.

$20 - $22 an hour
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees.
