The US Department of Veterans Affairs seeks Medical Record Technicians (MRT) Health Information Technicians (HIT) to perform incomplete health record analysis. You will review, analyze, abstract, maintain, extract, and compile information from health records, and check for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting for compliance with applicable standards while supporting the HIM section within the Patient Business

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Experience or education as specified in the basic requirements.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable per VA guidance.

Responsabilités
