My Florida Families is seeking a HEALTH INFORMATION SPECIALIST – F/C to manage clinical records for residents across state facilities. The role involves maintaining master records, coordinating with legal and health departments, and ensuring accurate data entry in hospital databases and EHR systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, clerical experience, and proficiency with multiple computer programs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent and three years of clerical experience.
• 3 years of experience in the operation of various computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clinical record for all residents, including filing and thinning ward charts and master records.
• Maintain medical record information in the computer, including discharges, transfers and leave of absences.
• Coordinate and copy information to the Legal Department for court-ordered treatment hearings.
• Other related duties as requested or assigned.
